eFaucets’ homepage had become old, stagnant and needed a refresh. After researching websites in similar retail spaces, I created a user-friendly and focused approach that funneled customers more easily to subcategories and product listing pages. Once wire-frames were approved, I curated a collection of lifestyle product images and mocked up for the development team to code and deploy. Significant changes: Focus on content and lifestyle; merchandise sub-categories; larger search bar; cleaner primary navigation.

To retain customers and encourage additional purchases by increasing our connections with them, thank you cards were printed and inserted into thousands of orders, each with a unique coupon code. This more personal outreach brought a greater number of shoppers back to eFaucets where they bought thousands of dollars in accessories, most often to coordinate the faucets and/or fixtures that brought them to eFaucets originally.

Conversion rates didn’t match the number of daily visitors to eFaucets, so we conducted a study using heat maps that revealed a distinct lack of optimization. After a comprehensive redesign that solved a number of customer pain points, conversion rates increased, and ratings from shoppers went up as well.

When I took over the email marketing program it was being run by a third-party company with little or no direction; templates were outdated and continuity was nonexistent. I initiated the redesign and applicable coding of new templates, which resulted in increased conversion rates and revenue as well.

Denver-based Kitchen & Bath Express needed a full-page advertisement for Supply House Times. As a new company just going to market, KBE wanted a simple and clean ad to introduce themselves to customers.

Hausera.com embodied clean lines, refined color palettes, and an upscale shopping experience. The diamond motif with the inlaid “h” was incorporated throughout the website and business cards for certain internal stakeholders.

The first iteration of the Hausera error page was plain text and didn't fit the style of the new brand. The page redesign included smoother navigation back to both the Hausera home page as well as to Hausera’s social media channels.

Hausera.com needed a more intuitive navigation that reduced the number of clicks to get visitors where they intended to go. Changes included a larger search bar, a help section, and relocated drop-down menus to make room for additional features like an “Inspiration” center.

Professional interior designers, builders, and contractors are frequent buyers in the kitchen and bath industry, and eFaucets wanted to expand its client base in this market. The company implemented a targeted approach that included a dedicated Pro Service team and a special program to better connect with industry professional customers in part by sending this flyer to them describing the benefits of program membership. In addition to fully designing the piece, I took professional headshots of each Account Manager and applied them to their respective flyer, providing a face with a name, which is so often missing in e-commerce.

I was inspired by classic design styles, using colors the client chose as well as a barley sprig and hops to associate with their brewhouse theme.

The theme of the bar is an Irish pub, so I incorporated those colors and elements into the design.

As a designer with The Journal Times in Racine, I often created ads for local businesses that ran in the paper. I worked closely with sales representatives and editors from conceptualization to the finished image to capture the message advertisers wanted to convey.
